2026 Japanese Studies PhD Research Grants application round for the period covering January – December 2027 will open September 1st 2026:

Applications for regular SJSF grants Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Japan, Norway and Sweden can be submitted from December 1st, 2026.  Applications should be submitted to the local office in the country where you have your permanent residence.
